Amazing night. Elise had a ball and Becky our Drag Queen was awesome! Defs recommend!

Kaitlin T., Easy Weddings verified review

That's the bit we build the night around. Our queen walks in knowing the bride's name and her story, and by the end of the night she's the one guest the bride can't stop talking about. More real hens, in their own words

01 the run of the night

What happens at a drag queen hens party

Five scenes, one queen and a bride who doesn't have to do a thing except turn up and be the bride.

A drag queen hens party with My Ultimate Hens puts one of our own drag queens in charge of the room: she's briefed on the bride before she arrives, hosts the games, calls the drag bingo, performs her show and makes the bride the star of a whole celebration of her, at dinner, at brunch, on the boat or bus, or at your place, in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide. The queen is where the night lights up, not where it ends.

At bingo or a dinner show she's already on the mic when you walk in. At your place, she knocks.

  1. A drag queen in a lilac wig and black lace corset pulling a shocked face at a dark bar

    Scene one

    She's done her homework

When you book, your package consultant asks about the bride: the proposal story, the in-jokes, which one of you is the ringleader. Your queen has all of it before she's even pinned her wig on.

  2. Our drag queen in a lime green bodysuit and long pink hair with her arm round the bride in a white jumpsuit and BRIDE tiara

    Scene two

    She finds the bride first

The room screams. She finds the bride, crowns her, then turns to the groom's proposal story and gives it the roast it deserves. The bride is laughing too hard to be embarrassed.

  3. A hens crew in party dresses squeezed together laughing in front of a red tinsel curtain

    Scene three

    Dabbers down, everyone in

The games start and every phone goes face down. Drag bingo, a round all about the bride, and a prize for whoever knows her best. Twenty minutes in, the bride's mum is doing the actions.

  4. A drag queen in a sequinned halter top and pearls singing into a microphone at a pink lit bar

    Scene four

    Her number

Lights down, phones up. The wig flip, every word of the lip sync and a death drop that gets the whole room screaming, then she pulls the bride into the finale, right where she loves to be.

  5. Our drag queen in a towering blonde wig and green feather boa posing with a smiling hen on a waterfront boardwalk at night

    Scene five

    The photo

She lines everyone up, finds everyone's good side and gets in the middle of the one the group chat is still using at the wedding. Then the rest of your night carries on around her.

And you? You read the bride right. You'll hear it all the way home.

03 crowd or spotlight

Drag bingo or a drag show: which one is her?

Bingo puts the whole crew in the game, with the bride cheering from the middle of it. A private show puts her front and centre.

If she loves a game

Drag bingo is the one where everyone's playing from the first number. Your queen calls it with cheeky rhymes and running jokes, the girls dab their cards and fight over the prizes, and the bride gets all her moments cheering from the middle of her crew. It's the safest bet for a group that half knows each other.

If she loves the spotlight

A drag show is the one where the bride gets pulled into it. At dinner, your queen works the table between courses and performs her number. At your place, she knocks, the bride opens the door, and the whole show is aimed at her. Pick this for the bride who'd love to be the star of the show for one night.

04 the cheek meter

How cheeky does a drag queen hens party get?

As cheeky as the bride wants, with her mum crying laughing in the front row.

The cheek lives in the jokes, the roast and the song choices, and our queens are pros at reading a room. The bride's mum is in stitches, the aunties are joining in, and every photo is group chat gold. The bride picks her spotlight and her queen plays it perfectly.

Her spotlight

In the crowd

She stays one of the girls. Your queen keeps the roast on the groom and the games on everyone, and the bride laughs along from her seat.

A little spotlight

Crowned, toasted and roasted just enough, then straight back into the crowd. The sweet spot for most brides.

Front and centre

Pulled up for the number, roasted properly and the star of every photo. For the bride who's been waiting her whole life for this.

Tell your package consultant her pick when you book, and her queen walks in knowing exactly how to play it.

Want a different kind of cheeky? That's what strip show hens parties are for. Want a man pouring her bubbles in a bow tie? Meet our hens party topless waiters.

Who a drag queen hens party suits

More brides than you'd think, including the ones who swear they'll hate being the centre of attention.

  • The mixed crew

School friends, work friends and the mums. Bingo has every one of them playing from the first number.

  • The crew that half knows each other

She's the icebreaker. One roast of the groom and the whole table are best friends.

  • The superfan bride

She'll get every Drag Race reference. So will her queen.

  • The bride who wants the laughs and the glamour

Big wigs, a big voice and her mum in the front row, crying laughing.

  • The quiet bride

She can stay in the crowd and still be the one the whole night is about. Set her spotlight.

  • Every bride, and the bride and bride

Our queens host every kind of crew. See LGBTQIA+ hens parties.

06 the bill, before the bingo

What a drag queen hens party costs

One price per person with her queen built in, so it's one easy share each.

Our drag queen hens packages usually sit around $100 to $300 per person, and they're built as the whole celebration: a drag brunch, a big night out or the full weekend. Your queen is where the screaming starts. The package is the magic.

For the organiser who wants it to kick off

Hi Claire, Just wanted to say a massive thankyou to all the team at my ultimate hens. From enquiry to booking, you have all been so lovely and made the whole process really easy. Stacey and everyone at the hens had a great night! Our drag queen was fabulous and really got the party started. The accommodation was clean, spacious and was great for our group. Will be recommending my ultimate hens to anyone looking to organise their hen's night.

For a whole weekend with a queen in it

Just wanted to give some feedback about our booking on the weekend for Jo's Hens - The Platter - Delicious, looked soo good! Our nude life drawing, was absolutely incredible, definitely exceeded our expectations, could not have been happier with our models services and professionalism from the minute he walked in to thank you messages after he had left. Drag Queens - Amazing, a lot of fun! Party Bus - The highlight of our event! Overall an amazing weekend, could not happier with how everything went, it's safe to say I have one happy bride to be, we had the best time and would highly reccommend using My Ultimate Hens again.

Drag queen hens party questions

The ones organisers ask us before they book, answered straight.

What happens at a drag queen hens party?

Our drag queen hosts the night: she arrives briefed on the bride, roasts the groom, runs the hens games and the drag bingo, performs her show and stars in the photos, so the bride is the centre of it all and the organiser gets to enjoy it too.

What is drag bingo?

Drag bingo is bingo hosted by a drag queen: she calls the numbers with cheeky rhymes and running jokes, the girls dab their cards, and there are prizes, a few games and a lot of laughing in between.

How long does a drag queen hens party go for?

Her show is around 30 minutes and drag bingo runs about an hour, and how long the celebration goes is up to you. Our packages cater for every kind of hens, from a drag brunch to the whole weekend.

How much does a drag queen hens party cost?

Our drag queen hens packages usually sit around $100 to $300 per person. Every package is the whole celebration, not just the queen. Pick her city to see them.

Can the drag queen come to our Airbnb or hotel?

Yes, absolutely. Her own show comes to you, wherever the hens is staying: your apartment, hotel or Airbnb. The bride opens the door and the party's started.

How cheeky does it get?

As cheeky as the bride wants: the cheek is in the jokes, the roast and the songs, and our queens read the room so the bride's mum laughs too. Set her spotlight.

Will the bride's mum and the shy friends be comfortable?

Yes. Our queens are pros at reading a room: drag bingo and drag trivia get everyone playing, the roast lands with every generation, and the bride's mum is usually the loudest one there.

Are your drag queens your own?

Yes. Our drag queens are our own, trained by us for hens nights and hired as My Ultimate Hens drag queens, so she knows the flow of a hens, the games and the moments that make the bride the star. More on why our drag queens are different.

Can you personalise it for the bride?

Yes. When you book, we ask about the bride (the proposal, the in-jokes, the ringleader) and your queen gets it before the night.

Do your drag queens run the hens games?

Yes, the games are part of her set, drag bingo included. For the pre-drinks and the after party, print our five free game cards, or try more drag queen hens games.

What should we wear to a drag queen hens party?

Go big: sequins, a wig, a feather boa, and something sparkly for the bride. Copy a dress code for the group chat, or see what to wear to a hens night.

Can we add a drag queen to a cruise, party bus or cocktail class?

Yes, our queens host on the boat, on the party bus, behind the bar at a cocktail class and at a drag and draw. See the boat, the party bus, the cocktail class and drag and draw.

Can the bride get a drag makeover?

Yes. Our queen does her face, lashes and wig before the party, and the girls pick her drag name. Find her drag name.

Which cities do you have drag queens in?

Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide. Pick her city.
