How a My Ultimate Hens package works
The short version: one celebration, designed and delivered for a hens, not a stack of separate bookings.
A My Ultimate Hens package is one complete hens celebration, designed for a hens from the first glass to the last stop. The experiences, food and drinks, hosts and entertainment, and transport or accommodation where included, run as one flow, at one price per person.
The design is in how it’s delivered, not just in what’s on the list.
What the design is doing
The welcomeHow you’re greeted sets the tone for the whole day, so it’s part of the plan. In plenty of our packages, that’s bubbles as you arrive and a first toast to her.
Something to do togetherAn experience run by a host who knows it’s a hens, so her school friends and work friends have something to laugh about together.
Her momentPlanned in, not left to chance. Plenty of our packages include a cocktail made just for the bride.
The moveOn to the next stop while the mood is high, somewhere that’s expecting a hens and has your spot ready.
Where you areBeside her and part of it. Not running it.
You choose the one that feels like her. The package is built to deliver it, so you get to be there for it. The next answer walks through a real one.
Booking a cocktail class, a dinner and a bar yourself gets you three bookings. A My Ultimate Hens package is one celebration designed around a hens: who greets you, when the glasses are poured, who runs the activity and how, when the bride gets her moment, and where you’re headed next with a spot waiting. The pieces can look similar on paper. How they’re delivered is the difference, and that’s the part you can’t book separately.
One real package, beat by beat
- Your studio is set up before you arrive, with room for your own decorationsYou walk into her party, not an empty room you have to get ready.
- A paint host welcomes you and guides everyone through it, drink in handEveryone’s doing the same thing at once, which is how her different friendship groups start laughing together.
- The paintings stay at the studio for pick-up laterNobody carries a wet canvas across town.
- A reserved area and a bottle of bubbly are waiting on the rooftopNo hovering for a table while the energy drains away.
- At the waterfront dinner, a glass of bubbly to toast the bride, and a signature cocktail headed her wayHer moment is already in the plan, so nobody has to engineer one.
None of that shows up on a booking confirmation. It’s the part of a hens that’s delivered rather than booked, and every package page walks you through its own version. That one is Paint & Sip Perfection in Melbourne.
You know her. We know how to deliver a hens. A package is where the two meet.
Our night flowed really well, no stuffing around and most importantly I got to actually enjoy my friends hens instead of playing event manager all night because everything had already been thought through. The timing, what was included, where we'd go next, what suited the 9 girls we had and honestly, I didn't properly realise how much difference that would make until the actual night itself. It felt like a proper event rather than us just meeting at a few places Han loved every part of it and even said how did you do and find all this?? So that was the review from her I needed and I would use them again in a heartbeat!
No. On the day, the package runs the way it was designed: each stop is expecting you, the next thing is ready before you get there, and the people delivering each part know it’s a hens and what their part in her celebration is. You’re there as her friend, not the event manager.
There is a bit to do beforehand, so here’s the honest split.
Before the day, you look after
- Getting the girls’ yes and collecting their payments
- Final numbers and details, three weeks out
- One final payment for the whole group
On the day, you’re busy
- Getting ready with her
- Raising the first glass
- Being in the photos
Once you’ve booked, your itinerary and key dates live in your own online portal, so you always know what’s due and when.
In six cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide. Every package belongs to one city, and her city’s page shows each one with what’s included and the price per person, side by side.

Travelling in for it? Choose the city she’d love to celebrate in, and tell us where the group is staying so we can recommend from there. Flights and getting to the starting point aren’t part of the package price.
Yes. The same packages that keep a hens group together all night work for a team too, so we also run work Christmas parties and team events: Christmas parties, EOFY parties, team building days and staff reward nights, in the same six cities.
Price and what’s included
One price per person, shown on every package. Here’s what it covers.
Most day and night packages sit between about $130 and $350 per person, and weekends away with accommodation between about $250 and $550. Every package shows its own price per person on its page.
What moves the price
- The package itselfA creative afternoon and a weekend away are different things.
- What’s in itEvery inclusion is listed on the package, so you can see what you’re paying for.
- How many of youThe bigger the group, the lower it tends to go, so six of you will tend to pay more each than fifteen. Each package shows its own minimum.
What doesn’t: whether someone drinks. Every place is the same price, the bride’s included.
Often the bigger question isn’t the number, it’s whether the girls will say yes to it. That’s why the price per person is on every package, up front: the group reacts to a real plan and a real number, not a guess, and you’re not the one defending an estimate.
Weighing it against booking the pieces yourself? Compare what’s delivered, not just what’s listed: here’s what a package does that a set of bookings can’t. And for the bigger picture, our guide to what a hens party costs goes through it.
Everything listed on the package. Here it is in one screenshot for the group chat:
In the price
- The experiences, hosts and entertainment the package lists
- The food and drinks it lists
- The transfers it lists
- GST and booking fees
Not in the price
- Getting to the starting point, flights included
- Anything you order that isn’t in the package (you pay the venue for that)
- Pick-ups more than 10 km from the city centre, unless the package says otherwise
If a package includes a performer, part of the price may be paid to them in cash on the night. That amount comes off your final payment rather than going on top, so nobody is doing surprise maths at the bar.
Her place is priced per person, like everyone else’s, and she counts towards the package minimum. We keep the dollars and cents transparent, and there’s no such thing as a free lunch (or free champagne), so how you treat her is your call.
Split her share across the group, have the bridesmaids shout her, or everyone pays their own way. Whichever you choose, you can see exactly what the celebration costs before anyone says yes.
Example only
Shouting the bride? Split 11 ways, that’s $195.27 each.
Comparing a “hen goes free” offer? Look at the total for everyone and what’s actually included, not just the headline.
Your group
Real groups are mixed: a mum who leaves after lunch, a friend who doesn’t drink, a cousin flying in. All normal.
Each package has its own minimum group size, shown on the package page. Groups of six to ten have their own range, Close Knit, with packages designed for that size.
Package minimums run from six to twenty
Close Knit: six to ten of youBigger groups: every package shows its own minimum
Choose around the girls you’re sure of, and let the maybes be a bonus. The package minimum is the number of places you’re committing to, and it still applies if fewer people come, so a package whose minimum suits your group is usually the best fit. Tell us how many you are and we’ll show you what fits.
No. When you book, you only need to be confident you’ll make the package minimum. Final numbers are due three weeks before the hens, unless your booking gives a different date.
- When you bookKnow you’ll make the package minimum.
- Three weeks outFinal numbers and the final payment, unless your booking gives a different date.
- After thatThe number is locked in, and the day is set around it.
If fewer people come than the minimum, the minimum still applies, so choose the package that suits the group you’re sure of, and use the time before final numbers to bring everyone else on board.
Decide with a few, then share with everyone. Choose with the people actually helping you decide, usually the bridesmaids, based on what suits her and a spend that works, then give the wider group one package to say yes to, with what’s included and the price per person right there.
Twenty people choosing between twenty ideas in a group chat usually ends in more opinions and no hens. One package, one price and a date is something people can actually RSVP to. And if a bridesmaid is deciding with you, bring her into the package call so you’re both looking at the same thing.
Once you’ve booked, you also get a page for the girls: her photo at the top, their names on it, the plan for the day, and answers to the things they’d otherwise message you about, like what to wear, where to be and what if they’re not drinking. Drop it in the group chat, and everyone’s looking at the same plan.
Very normal. Most hens are a mix of school friends, work friends, family and the partner’s side, which is why so many of our packages include something the whole group does together.
A cocktail class or a creative workshop gives everyone something to talk about while their hands are busy, and a host who knows it’s a hens gets the room laughing together. A drag queen does the same job from the front of the room, and a tarot reader has everyone swapping stories. That’s the work the first part of a package is doing.
Tell us about the mix when you get in touch, and we’ll suggest a package that opens the right way for them.
Often, yes. Once your group meets the package minimum, the team can usually offer reduced pricing for someone joining only part of the package.
The mum who’s in for lunch and home by four, the friend with a newborn who has to leave at seven: plenty of groups look like that. Tell us the split when you get in touch, and we’ll tell you what works for that package.
Whoever she wants there. Brothers, dads, the best friend who happens to be a guy, the grandpa who insists: packages can be enjoyed by everyone, whoever is getting married and whoever they love.
Just tell us who’s coming, so the package suits the whole group.
It depends on the package. Some venues and activities are 18+, especially licensed venues at night and anything built around wine or cocktails, while others welcome younger guests.
Tell us ages when you get in touch and we’ll point you to packages where they can join in, rather than finding out at the door. You confirm anyone under 18 with your final numbers.
They’re in, at the same price per person. Where drinks are part of a package, non-drinkers get a non-alcoholic alternative, depending on the package: in a cocktail class they make the non-alcoholic versions, and beverage packages typically include soft drinks.
If most of the group isn’t drinking, go for a package that isn’t built around the bar. Creative workshops, pampering, long lunches and daytime experiences give everyone something to share beyond what’s in the glass.
Yes. Tell us when you get in touch, and we’ll recommend packages built around what she can enjoy, and walk you through what each activity involves so she can decide what suits her.
Food can be adjusted as a pregnancy dietary requirement (no raw foods, for example), and drinks work the same way as for any non-drinker. Plenty of packages centre on making something together, a long lunch or a pamper session, and choosing one of those means she isn’t sitting anything out.
Where a package includes food, we do our utmost to make sure the venues can cater for basic dietary requirements, such as gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, dairy free and pregnancy (Magic Men bookings are the exception).
Every venue has its own menu and kitchen, so what’s possible varies. Once you’ve booked, the list of names and requirements goes in with your final numbers, and anything that needs a conversation with the venue is sorted before the day. If someone has a serious allergy or a strict requirement, mention it when you get in touch so it’s part of choosing the package, not something discovered at the table.
Tell us what they need when you get in touch, and we’ll look at the actual venues, activities and transport in the packages you’re considering. Stairs, seating and how far the group walks between stops all vary from package to package, so they’re worth knowing before you choose.
Once you’ve booked, mobility requirements go in with your final numbers so each venue knows ahead of the day. Getting it right at the start means choosing a celebration with them included from the first stop.
Making it hers
Start with a package that already works, then change the bits that don’t suit her.
It starts with her, not with the activity list. What you tell us about her (what she loves, what she’d hate, how much attention she actually wants) decides which package we recommend and what we’d change on it.
How it usually translates
- She goes red when a waiter sings happy birthdayNothing that puts her on show, and fun the whole table shares.
- She’d pick a long lunch over a nightclub every timeThe day’s built around a great table, and the night can grow or stop there.
- Half the girls have little kids at homeThe best bits land early, so anyone can head off after dinner without missing the moment.
Because a hens can go completely to plan and still not quite be her. Everything booked, everyone there, nothing went wrong, and she’s gracious about it, the way she is at other people’s parties. The answer isn’t adding more. It’s choosing what makes sense for her and for these particular people.

That’s the difference between a hens that went well and one that was unmistakably hers.
Yes, within the design. You can add extras such as a limousine, an entertainer, more food or drinks, or accommodation for some or all of the group, depending on the package’s logistics, timing and cost.
Extras that can be added
- A limousine
- An entertainer
- More food
- More drinks
- Accommodation, for some or all of the group
Stays put: food at a licensed venue or on a boat, because it’s part of their liquor licence.
Each package’s timing and inclusions are designed to work together, so if something in one you love isn’t quite her, tell us what you’d want instead and why. Sometimes that’s an upgrade; sometimes it’s a different package that already has the feel you’re after. Either way, you’ll know any price change before you book.
Yes, that’s common. Tell us what’s already locked in, where it is and the timings, and we’ll tell you which packages make sense around it.
One thing worth knowing: food at a licensed venue or on a boat can’t be taken out of a package, because it’s part of their liquor licence. So if dinner’s already booked, a package without a dinner is usually the better fit.
Yes. How cheeky it gets is her call, and it isn’t one scale. Plenty of brides love a drag show and want no nudity at all. Some want life drawing and nothing else. Some want a topless waiter pouring the bubbles. Plenty want none of it and still want a big night.
Tell us what’s in and what’s out for her. If a package you love includes something she wouldn’t enjoy, we’ll talk through what can change.
Yes. There are hens weekend packages with accommodation in all six cities, and accommodation can also be added to a package for some or all of the group, which is handy when half the girls live locally.

When an overnight stay is part of a hens weekend package, every guest has their own bed or a rollaway, at the one price per person, even if your numbers change before the final date. Nobody’s sharing a bed or drawing straws for the couch.
Start wherever you are. You can browse complete packages in her city, put your ideas and must-haves into her Wishlist, or talk it through with us.

If all you’ve got so far is one thing she’d love and one thing she’d hate, that’s a good place to start the conversation.
Booking and paying
The practical bit, in plain English. The full detail lives in our Terms and Conditions.
- Find a package you love, or talk to us and we’ll recommend one.
- Send a booking request from the package page, or book over the phone.
- The team checks availability with every part of the package for your date. If something isn’t available, you’re offered alternatives before your card is charged.
- You secure it with just your own share. Your online portal and a page for the girls follow.
- About three days later, the second part of the deposit is charged. If the group doesn’t love the plan, tell us before then and what you’ve paid becomes a credit towards another package.
- Final numbers and the final payment are due on the date in your booking, usually three weeks before.
- The hens. You, next to her.
Packages aren’t held or pencilled in, but you don’t need a hold. Your package is secured with just your own share, and the rest of the deposit isn’t charged for about three days.
That gives you time to drop the plan in the group chat. If the girls don’t love it, tell us within those three days and what you’ve paid becomes a full credit towards another My Ultimate Hens package. And if a bridesmaid is deciding with you, bring her into the package call so you choose it together.
You secure your package with just your own share: one person’s place. The second part of the deposit is charged about three days later, and the final payment isn’t due until roughly three weeks before the hens. Both parts of the deposit come off your total.
- The day you bookYour own share secures the package and the date.
- About three days laterThe second part of the deposit.
- Around three weeks outFinal numbers and the final payment.
Those three days are yours to take it to the group chat. If the girls don’t love it, tell us within those three days and what you’ve paid becomes a full credit towards another My Ultimate Hens package.
Deposits are non-refundable, and the exact amounts and dates are set out on your package call before anything is charged.
You pay us once, for the whole group, three weeks before the hens, unless your booking gives a different date. Booking within three weeks of the hens? Then the full amount is paid when you book.
We don’t take separate payments from each guest, so you collect from the girls before your due date. Set their date a week or so ahead of yours so there’s room to follow up. Once you’ve booked, you’ll get invitation wording that makes asking for it easier.
The deposit isn’t refunded if you cancel. The exception is the first three days after you book: if the girls don’t love the plan, what you’ve paid becomes a full credit towards another My Ultimate Hens package instead. Cancelling within three weeks of the hens also brings further charges, based on the package minimum and the costs charged by the venues and providers booked for your hens.
It’s all set out in section 6 of our Terms and Conditions. If numbers are the problem, talk to us about changing the package before you cancel it.
More notice means more choice, particularly for accommodation, private spaces and Saturday times.
A closer date is still worth asking about. A booking within three weeks of the hens can go ahead if everything is available, with the full amount paid when you book.
Talking to us
What happens when you get in touch, and who you’re dealing with.
A real person gets back to you, and nothing is paid until you decide to book.
- A textFrom a real person on the team, usually first, to find a time to talk that suits you.
- A call about herHer, the group, the date and the line she won’t cross.
- Your packageWalked through on a second call, on your own package link, price included. Deciding with a bridesmaid? Bring her too.
- You decideNothing is paid until you book. Once you do, you get a page to share with the girls.
If the package you first clicked doesn’t sound like the bride you’ve described, we’ll say so, and show you the one that does.
I just wanted to say thank you so much for the amazing job you did organising the hens night. Bec (and everybody else) had a wonderful time and you made the process simple and stress free from day one. The night went according to plan and was fun and full of laughter Thank you for all the emails and quick responses to my thousand questions and concerns! You made this (first time) experience so much easier for me. I will definitely recommend you to others. Thanks again.
Her city, a rough date and a rough number are enough to start. You don’t need a package picked or a final headcount, and anything you can tell us about her makes the suggestion sharper.
Enough to start
- Her city
- A date, even a rough one
- A rough number
- Her name
- Anything she’d love
- Anything she’d hate
If part of the hens is already booked, like accommodation or dinner, mention that too, along with anything that affects the choice, such as younger guests or access needs.
Yes, you can organise it from anywhere. Everything happens by phone, text and email, and once you’ve booked, your itinerary, key dates and payments live in your own online portal, which is there whenever you are, whatever the time zone.
You don’t need to know her city’s venues, or which ones are good with a hens. That knowledge comes with the package.
So I organised a hen party from London for my best friend in Australia and honestly didn't know how I was going to pull it off and so happy I found My Ultimate Hens. From start to finish everything exceeded expectations, thankyou for all the little surprises, how smoothly everything went and it all just worked and we had just the best time and honestly just soak it all in, which is pretty rare when you're the one organising. It ended up being one of the best nights ever and there's no way I could have done it from the other side of the world without you. I'm so grateful and honestly couldn't recommend you more.
