Life drawing hens parties, with the whole night drawn in

Topless waiter turns model. Everyone sketches, badly. Then the night rolls on.

We build the life drawing into her whole hens, from the first knock to the last round, in six cities around Australia.

See how it runsMake her invite

  • How longUp to two hours of pencils and giggles. The rest of the night is up to you.
  • CostOur life drawing hens packages usually sit around $150 to $300 per person.
  • GroupSix of you or thirty, it works a treat.
  • WhereAll six cities
The bride in her veil on the couch, her friends laughing behind their hands while the model holds a drawing board
Her face, mid-sketch

She gets the front-row seat and the worst portrait of the night. You get the thank-yous in the group chat, with your name on them.

What happens at a life drawing hens party

A knock at the door, a round of bubbles, a robe on the floor. Then the giggling turns into a competition.

A life drawing hens party with My Ultimate Hens is a class where your topless waiter becomes your model and everyone sketches (badly, gloriously), built into a whole celebration of her. The class is where the night starts, not where it ends.

No art skills, no homework. Everyone draws at once, and the only person on show is him.

Who does what

Him
Pours the first round, poses for selfies, then holds every pose while you draw.
Between poses
Games and challenges, and a few pointers on drawing him, so the whole room stays in stitches.
Everyone
Draws him, all at once. Then holds her drawing up for the group photo.
The bride
Front row. Decides how cheeky, and keeps her favourite drawing.
  1. A hens group in a lounge room with a welcome sign for the bride's hens and the model lying across laps

    Drinks in hand.

A studio, a lounge or a VIP room set up for your crew, with a drink in your hand as you walk in. A room full of your girls, and the giggling starts early.

  2. A topless waiter in a bow tie and collar pouring drinks for hens in pink sashes on the couch

    A knock at the door.

He arrives shirtless and spends the first half hour as your waiter: pouring drinks, mingling, posing for photos with her. By the time the pads come out, the room is already laughing.

  3. A sketch pad in the foreground with a drawing of the model, who poses with his back to the roomSave to Pinterest

    Pencils for everyone.

Every pad and pencil is supplied. The only skill required is keeping a straight face while he holds the pose.

  4. The life drawing model posing from behind under rose gold balloons while hens sketch

    The big reveal.

Off comes the rest (or not: pants on is always her call). He holds each pose while you draw, with games and challenges between poses that have the whole room in stitches.

  5. Hens in black dresses with the model lying across their laps, a drawing held over him

    The gallery moment.

It ends with the group photo, everyone holding up her own drawing with him in the middle, and the drawings go home with you. That's the photo the group chat will still be using at the wedding.

  6. A hens group at a long restaurant table, the bride in a pink sash

    On to the night.

He's back in his robe, and you're off to dinner, the bar or another round right where you are, and nobody's quiet any more.

Your model is your topless waiter for about the first half hour, then poses for the class. All up he's with you for about one and a half to two hours, and the rest of the night is yours.

How cheeky a life drawing hens gets, from pants on to the full masterpiece

Her call, every time.

Every My Ultimate Hens life drawing night starts with a topless waiter, so the cheek is built in. How far he goes after that is up to her, and there are exactly two ways it goes.

Two hens on a couch covering their mouths and laughing while the model poses with his back to the camera

Not sure how cheeky she’d go?

Three taps for a nudge. It’s still her call, so ask her.

1If her mum comes, she’ll be…

2When the topless waiter walks in, she’ll…

3The group chat is mostly…

Both come with every My Ultimate Hens life drawing package. And he knows her line before he knocks.

Who a life drawing hens suits

Anyone who can hold a glass and a pencil. The worse she draws, the better the night.

A life drawing hens suits mixed groups because everyone does the same thing at once, sitting down, with something to concentrate on, so nobody's on show unless she wants to be.

Three different questions, three different answers

  1. How much does he take off? That one’s the bride’s: pants on or the full masterpiece.
  2. How much does anyone have to join in? Draw. That’s the whole job. He does the posing; you do the giggling and the shading.
  3. How much is anyone on show? Him, entirely. The rest of you are behind a sketch pad until the group photo, and that’s only if she wants in it.
  • Hens laughing with the shirtless model, who holds a drawing board in front of him

The bride who said no strippers.

Choose pants on: he poses in his undies, holds dead still while you draw, and the only performance expected from her is a drawing.

  • A hen in a floral dress pulling a shocked face beside the seated model, easels behind

The quiet bride, or the quiet ones.

Give a quiet bride a pencil and she has somewhere to look, something to do and a reason to giggle that isn't him.

  • An older guest sketching at an easel while the model poses from behind beside a hen

Her mum, the aunties, his mum.

Mum meets him first as the waiter topping up her glass, then sits down with a pencil like everyone else. And mum doesn't automatically mean mild: plenty are first in line for the photo.

  • A big hens group under BRIDE balloons with the model lying across their laps

    The girls who've never met.

Comparing terrible drawings does in ten minutes what small talk takes all night to do.

  • A smiling hen taking a selfie while the group sketches the kneeling model

    Pregnant.

A sit-down drawing class is one of the easiest things for a pregnant bride to enjoy from start to finish: a comfy seat, a pencil in her hand and the best view in the room.

  • Five hens on a couch with the model across their laps, holding a drawing board

    Six of you or thirty.

It works a treat at any size: a small table means everyone has the front row, a big crew means a louder gallery moment.

The house rules

So everyone can relax, him included.

  1. Our own models. Our own My Ultimate Hens crew, chosen for their good looks, charisma and professionalism, and for knowing how to get a room full of women laughing.
  2. Eyes on, hands off, pencils ready. No touching during the poses. Once he’s in his novelty G-string for photos, a friendly arm around him is welcome, with his consent.
  3. Ask first. Photos only with his OK, and never while he’s fully naked. The poses stay off the camera roll.
  4. Cheeky is encouraged. Getting carried away, ladies, is not.

Pants on or the full masterpiece, the rules don’t change.

On the model

Just wanted to give some feedback about our booking on the weekend for Jo's Hens - The Platter - Delicious, looked soo good! Our nude life drawing, was absolutely incredible, definitely exceeded our expectations, could not have been happier with our models services and professionalism from the minute he walked in to thank you messages after he had left. Drag Queens - Amazing, a lot of fun! Party Bus - The highlight of our event! Overall an amazing weekend, could not happier with how everything went, it's safe to say I have one happy bride to be, we had the best time and would highly reccommend using My Ultimate Hens again.

On mum

Hi Heather,

I wanted to provide some feedback from Stephies hens on the weekend just gone and say a huge thanks to everyone involved - she loved it from start to finish and you made it all so perfect! Your burlesque dancer Crystal she was unreal and made us all feel very femme fierce and strutting our stuff! Thankyou also for making sure she included the songs I sent you because as we talked about in the lead up these are our hens favourite songs and it made it even more special to have them as part of the night.

Now onto the topless waiter, well he was dishy as promised and even Stephs mum was getting in on the action and stealing him from everyone else for photos which was so funny! He couldn't do enough for us and yes as you can see from the photos we even dressed him up in a toilet paper gown and he was such a good sport helping and making us all laugh, it was exactly what we needed on such a fun night and exactly the sort of attitude i had hoped for.

Everything ran perfectly and i just wanted to say thankyou again i honestly couldn't have done it without your help and i cant wait to work with you again when i get engaged!

What a life drawing hens party costs

The package is the magic.

Our life drawing hens packages usually sit around $150 to $300 per person, and they’re built as the whole celebration: the waiter, the class, then dinner, bubbles or the dance floor. The life drawing is just where it starts.

Making a weekend of it? Our hens weekends usually sit around $250 to $550 per person.

Want to see the packages? Pick her city.

On the night itself

Hi ladies,

I just wanted to thank you for organising an amazing event. The Hens party was a success. Sharna & the girls had so much fun. The night ran perfectly, not one glitch.

The life drawing class was the star of the night, so many laughs were had and your staff Mark & Adrianna were absolutely lovely. The restaurant was amazing, food and service were perfect.

Thanks again for your professional service and also your understanding & willingness to help out when things got a little stressful with numbers, it was definitely appreciated and I will be recommending your company to friends & family.

Thanks ladies! Kisses, Katie

Life drawing hens parties with My Ultimate Hens, at a glance

Who runs it
My Ultimate Hens, female founded in 2011, helping hens celebrate in six Australian cities. Every life drawing night comes as part of a whole hens package, with the class as one very cheeky part of the celebration. Games between poses, the group photo and keeping the drawings come with every night.
What it is
The funniest hour a mixed crew can spend at a hens party or hen do: the bride, her mum, the work friends and the girls who’ve never met, all drawing the same man, badly, at the same time. A male model starts as your topless waiter, then poses while everyone draws, with every pad and pencil supplied, games between poses, a group photo and your drawings to keep.
How long
Your model is your topless waiter for about the first half hour, then poses for the class, so he’s with you for about one and a half to two hours. The whole celebration runs as long as you want it to.
How cheeky
Two levels, and the bride picks: pants on (the model in underwear or novelty underwear) or fully nude.
Models and house rules
Every model is one of our own My Ultimate Hens crew, trained by us. No touching during the poses, and photos only with his consent, never while he's fully naked.
Where
Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide.
Price per person
Our life drawing hens packages usually sit around $150 to $300 per person.
Group size
Six of you or thirty, it works a treat.
Booking
Secure it with just your own share, with the second part following a few days later. The rest is in our hens party FAQs.

The first-time organiser, after a life drawing and dinner night

Good morning ladies, I just wanted to say thank you so much for the amazing job you did organising the hens night. Bec (and everybody else) had a wonderful time and you made the process simple and stress free from day one. The night went according to plan and was fun and full of laughter. Thank you for all the emails and quick responses to my thousand questions and concerns! You made this (first time) experience so much easier for me. I will definitely recommend you to others. What to wear to a life drawing hens party

He’s turning up in a bow tie and not much else. Give it half an hour and he’ll be wearing even less. You lot, however, get to dress up.

The drawing doesn’t need a dress code: the pencils are supplied and nobody’s marking. Dress for where the night ends up, and if the girls want a theme, life drawing hands you the best photo of the night to show it off.

  • All inOne theme, everyone in it, the bride in the veil. The gallery shot gets framed.
  • One hero pieceYour usual going-out outfit plus one thing: a sash, heart sunglasses, a matching tee.
  • Just the brideShe’s in white or a veil. Everyone else dresses for dinner.

The bride

Whatever the theme, she’s the the one in the veil, so she’s easy to find in the gallery shot when everyone’s holding up a drawing.

  • Something you can sit in. The class is a good hour on a couch, a chair or the floor, with a pad on your lap.
  • Flats in the bag. Most nights roll on to dinner or a bar.
  • Nothing to bring for the drawing. Pads and pencils are supplied.

Drawings up, everyone in, him in the middle. Cue it on your phone for the photo.

Music for the rest of the night? Here are 100 hens party songs, moment by moment.

The whole hens around the life drawing

There’s no one way to build it. Here are three of the most-loved ways our crews have done it, and her city’s packages have plenty more combinations. An afternoon of drawing and bubbles is a whole hens on its own.

A hens group in sunglasses at a long dinner table with the city behind

Draw, then dinner.

Bubbles as you walk in, the topless warm-up, the class, then out to a dinner that's already expecting you: on the waterfront, over two courses or over share plates. The ice broke an hour ago, so the table is loud from the first course.

Hens in black with bride sashes and glasses of bubbles, the model lying across their laps

Draw, with bottomless bubbles.

A room full of your girls, glasses that never sit empty, grazing or canapés going round, and the life drawing right in the middle. Nobody's at the bar while he's holding a pose, and the brave ones carry straight on to a VIP nightclub booth.

Draw, then out.

A studio or VIP room for the class, then share plates or dinner, then a rooftop, a booth or the dance floor. Small table or big crew, no shortage of night.

Booking a life drawing class for a hens, and the night around it

A class gets you a model and a room. A hens is everything around them.

Plenty of studios run a good life drawing class, and plenty of groups book one themselves and have a lovely time. A My Ultimate Hens life drawing night puts the whole celebration in one place: the waiter, the class, the dinner or the bubbles, the next stop and the little surprises for the bride, lined up in an order that works, because we’ve been building hens since 2011 and we know what makes a night land.

  • One place for everything.
  • Surprises for her, already in it.
  • You’re in the gallery photo, not taking it.

So yes, it’s a life drawing class for a hens. It just doesn’t end when the class does.

On a class, or a hens

I was a MOH for the first time and feeling the pressure because she is not into the tacky hens thing at all. What I liked most was that Britt actually understood the difference between 'things to do on a hens' and planning a good hens that felt like an actual celebration not a bunch of bookings together because obviously I could have booked a cocktail class and dinner or whatever myself obviously. I only realised after that I just wouldn't have known which combination would suit our group, what order to do it all in or half the little details and personalised touches for the bride that made the whole night what it was. So there's definitely more thought behind these packages than I realised before booking and she absolutely loved it and apparently I'm now the designated event organiser of the group. Would 100% use them again and a big thankyou to Britt and Maddi as well for everything that went into making it so good!

Life drawing hens party questions

Is the life drawing model fully nude?

Only if the bride wants him to be. It’s her call: fully nude, or pants on (his underwear, or a novelty g-string if you'd like the photos funnier). Either way, your model starts the night as your topless waiter.

How does My Ultimate Hens choose its life drawing models?

Our hens party life drawing models are our own My Ultimate Hens crew, personally chosen for their good looks, charisma and professionalism. Handsome? Absolutely. But he also needs to know how to get a room full of women laughing and feeling comfortable. For a life drawing hens party, that means knowing when to bring the cheeky banter and when to let your quieter friends settle in. Everyone can enjoy the fun without being pushed into the spotlight. You’ve brought the girls together. You deserve to be laughing alongside them, not standing in the hallway wondering whether the model will turn up. Having our own professional models is part of the My Ultimate Hens difference.

What is the no-touching rule at a hens life drawing class?

During nude life drawing poses, there is no touching the model. Eyes on, hands off, pencils ready. Once he’s wearing his novelty G-string for selfies and group photos, a friendly arm around him is welcome with his consent. Keep your hands away from intimate areas and follow his lead. Cheeky is encouraged. Getting carried away, ladies, is not.

Can we take photos during our life drawing hens party?

Photos with your My Ultimate Hens model are permitted only with his consent, and never while he is fully naked. Always ask before taking photos, including any cheeky shots of his bum. Wearing a G-string doesn’t automatically mean he’s agreed to be photographed. Once he’s covered up and happy to pose, get the girls together for a group shot. The rule is simple: ask first, respect his answer and keep the fully nude poses off your camera roll.

Is a life drawing hens party awkward?

No, or only for about as long as it takes him to pour the first round. Your model arrives as your waiter, so everyone's laughing and taking photos with him before the drawing starts, and games between poses keep it moving.

What games do you play at a life drawing hens party?

Every My Ultimate Hens life drawing night has games between poses on the night. For the rest of the hens, our free printables cover it: life drawing bingo, a topless waiter photo hunt, most likely to, never have I ever, twelve drawing games for the table and the life drawing awards.

How much does a life drawing hens party cost?

Our life drawing hens packages usually sit around $150 to $300 per person. Every package is the whole celebration, not just the class. Pick her city to see them.

Can we just book the life drawing class?

No. A My Ultimate Hens life drawing night is built to be one seamless, cheeky celebration from start to finish, so the class comes as part of a package. The lightest is the class with bottomless drinks and grazing, and the right one depends on what you’re after: have a look at the packages in her city.

How long does a life drawing hens party take?

Your model is your topless waiter for about the first half hour, then poses for the class. All up he’s with you for about one and a half to two hours, and how long the celebration goes is up to you: our packages cater for every kind of hens, from an afternoon of bubbles to dinner and the dance floor.

Do we keep the drawings?

Yes, every one. Everyone keeps her drawing, and once he’s covered up and happy to pose, there’s a group photo with your drawings and your model in the middle. That’s the one the group chat keeps.

Can under-18s come?

No. Life drawing is one for the grown-ups. Younger cousins or nieces coming to the hens? Tell us who’s coming and we’ll make sure they’re part of the rest of her celebration.

Can we do it at our apartment or Airbnb?

Staying together? Love that. The life drawing runs in a studio, lounge or venue space set up for it, and our own hens accommodation can be added so the night flows straight from one to the other. Already booked your own place? Tell us where, and we’ll build her night around it.

Is it the same as a bachelorette life drawing party?

Same idea, different accent. Here it's a hens party, hens night or hen do, and the life drawing works exactly the same.

How far ahead should we book?

The earlier the better, always, so we can find her the most amazing package for the hens you want. A closer date is still worth asking about.
