- Who runs it
- My Ultimate Hens, female founded in 2011, helping hens celebrate in six Australian cities. Every cooking class hens comes as part of a whole hens package, with the class as just one part of the celebration.
- What it is
- A class that works for every kind of crew: the foodie bride, the mixed-age table, mum and the mates who've never met. A chef shows everyone the secret, from gnocchi and pizza to cake decorating, dumplings or sushi, then everyone sits down to a feast of what they made, with the bride at the head of the table.
- How the day runs
- The class, then lunch on what you made, then the rest of her hens: a rooftop and a VIP booth that night in Melbourne, or a feast and hens games at the Gold Coast cook-off.
- The classes
- Gnocchi and pizza in Melbourne, shared with other food lovers or just your crew with our drag queen or our topless waiter; a pizza cook-off in teams on the Gold Coast. Plus cake decorating, chocolate and dessert, cookie decorating, dumplings, sushi and gyoza, tapas and paella, Mexican, cheese making, grazing boards, a cook-off challenge or a private chef, on request in her city.
- How long
- Long enough to make it, eat it and toast her. The whole celebration runs as long as you want it to.
- Dietary needs
- Catered for. Tell us who's gluten free, vegan or allergic when you check her date, and everyone eats.
- How cheeky
- As sweet as a long lunch or as cheeky as a topless waiter pouring the wine. Innuendo, never explicit, and the bride decides.
- Drinks
- Gnocchi and a glass go together. The glass might be bubbly on arrival, wine with the lunch you made or a cocktail just for the bride, with a soft drink for anyone who'd rather. Whatever suits your crew.
