The Cross Is Calling. Heels On, Girls.
Right, ladies, phones charged and lipstick in the clutch. Saturday at the Cross is for the bride who wants the big Saturday night, with a toast up high to kick it off and a dance floor waiting at the end of it. Better still, every stop is an easy teeter from the last, even in glittery heels, so the night never loses its momentum. Her hens, her rules! And this one builds all the way to the last song.
We start on our terracotta rooftop, a leafy escape of warm clay tones and colourful Yucatan-inspired details, with the inner city Sydney skyline peeking through behind you. Your rooftop reserved table is yours for two hours, and a bottle of sparkling wine to share arrives right behind you. The very first glass goes up to the bride. Cheers to that!
Then the girls discover the discounted cocktail and seasonal slushy menu, and suddenly the table is a rainbow of frozen drinks. Get everyone in close for the first great photo of the night: the bride in the middle, drinks up, with all that terracotta glowing around her.
When your two hours up top are done, the night teeters on to our glam cocktail venue, a retro-chic hideaway of teal tiles, blush pink accents, brass detailing and plush leather booths, tucked into a gorgeous central location. Your reserved table is waiting, and a round of bubbly on arrival puts a fresh glass in every hand.
Then the pizzas land. Chef's selection pizzas and salads come down the table to share, delicious shared dining with enough for a main each, which is exactly what a girl needs before a big night of dancing. And for your hen? A bonus cocktail, just for her, because the bride gets first dibs on everything tonight.
