Separate Pieces. One Fabulous Crew.
Glass does something rather lovely in the heat: lots of separate little pieces melt into one bright, beautiful whole. A good hens does exactly the same thing to a group of girls, and Fused and Fabulous is built to make it happen, with bubbly on a rooftop, a glass fusing class in your own room, share plates at a reserved table and a velvet booth to finish.
It begins in the sunshine on our stunning rooftop bar, where breathtaking views across the city skyline meet lush greenery and swaying palms. Your reserved area is ready with seating tucked among the palms. A bottle of bubbly lands on arrival for the group to pop together. The discounted cocktail menu is right there for anyone who fancies a cocktail next, and the camera roll starts filling up here with the bride against the skyline, glass in hand.
Then the whole group heads into the heart of the city, and the afternoon takes a creative turn.
Your own VIP room is yours for two hours, with pink hues, glowing neon, hanging greenery and stunning decor all around. A round of cocktails welcomes you in, and your expert artist host is ready with templates and all the tools and materials for the two hour glass fusing workshop. Everyone designs a vase or platter of her own, playing with shapes and colours until a scatter of little pieces becomes something polished enough for pride of place at home. With a bigger crew, this is where the room really comes alive: ideas fly across the table and the bold ones go big on colour, while at least one girl insists hers is secretly for the bride.
Every vase and platter becomes a keepsake of her hens, the kind of piece that sits on a shelf for years and still starts the story. The bride, meanwhile, has a surprise kit to call her own: a DIY hanging decor kit, gifted to her on the day.
When the room time is up, your reserved table in the main dining room is ready, with delicious share plates for everyone and a bonus cocktail on its way to the hen. It's the perfect pause to swap photos of your designs and toast the day so far.
The last piece of the day is the shiniest. An easy teeter down a Melbourne laneway, our glam cocktail lounge lets the whole crew in with the cover charge waived. Your VIP booth is reserved for two hours in plush velvet under custom neon. As you settle in, a surprise bottle of bubbly arrives for your hen. By now the crew that arrived as separate little pieces has well and truly melted into one, and the dance floor right beside your booth is where they prove it. Everyone in, everyone dancing the night away.
