Before anyone slides a ring onto her finger, her girls are going to make a few of their own. Rings Before Rings is for the bridesmaids who have always wanted to wear something they made, and the bride who would love to see her whole crew matching. It's glass and sparkle in your own private studio, then pink neon cocktails and a velvet VIP booth to dance it all off.
The studio is yours. Inside your private studio room, an expert instructor walks the group through glass fusing, with a template and all the tools and materials ready to play with. Then comes the fun part: deciding what to make. Rings, obviously. Earrings and necklaces too, plus hair clips for good measure. Brooches. Tiny pocket hugs to tuck into a handbag. Everyone creates her own glass jewellery collection, and this is where the matching plan takes shape. Same colours? Same shapes? Someone will absolutely draw a diagram.
That's the magic of glass: made together at her hens, and a matching keepsake for the whole bridal party. And the bride doesn't go home empty-handed on the day, because her own surprise kit is waiting: a DIY hanging decor kit that's hers to take home.
Two and a half hours later, the city is calling. If you'd like the bubbly to start early, a door to door limo can carry the crew in with a glass each.
Our neon-kissed Melbourne CBD hideaway is where the evening gets its glow. Think blush pink and gold, with cherry blossoms blooming under glowing greenery and beautiful decor that flatters every photo. A cocktail is poured for every guest as you reach your reserved table, and the delicious share plates arrive for the group. Then, right when the cheers are loudest, a bonus cocktail lands in front of your hen. Somebody will propose a toast to the rings you made today. Somebody else will propose a toast to the one she's about to wear. Both are correct.
Down the laneway, an easy teeter from dinner, our glam cocktail lounge saves the sparkliest room for last. The cover charge is waived with VIP entry, and a luxe VIP booth in plush velvet is held for your crew for two hours. Cue the surprise bottle of bubbly for your hen, and cue somebody on the dance floor doing the ring finger wave.
She'll have her crew around her and her dance floor right there, with a whole collection of matching pieces on the way. Every time one of them gets worn, somebody will remember whose idea it was, and it was yours.
