One Kitchen. Two Queens.
Two queens walk into a kitchen. The first is your bride, flour to the elbows and grinning. The second arrives mid-class in more sequins than the kitchen has ever seen, and she is not here to cook. Extra Sauce is made for the loud, funny crew who want their lunch handmade and their entertainment fabulous. It's her hens after all, so let's crown her properly!
Your day begins in a relaxed Italian dining room glowing with warm light, with a glass of bubbly on arrival for every guest. Salute! Then your dedicated My Ultimate chef takes your group through a private, hands-on gnocchi masterclass, showing the girls the secret to perfect gnocchi, one pillowy little parcel at a time. It's just your crew in the class, which is lucky, because somebody is about to turn the volume right up.
Then, just as everyone's hands are covered in dough, the door swings open. Your private drag queen has arrived, and for a thirty minute experience she owns the room. First comes a spectacular performance, all glitter and attitude, then she pulls the girls into a hens party game with your group, with the bride front and centre whether she likes it or not. Before she sashays off there is time for selfies and group photos, so get the camera rolls ready. Two queens, one frame. That's the photo.
After all that, sit down together and enjoy your handmade gnocchi, served up fresh for everyone. A bonus cocktail just for the hen appears as a little surprise, and the girls have our discounted cocktail menu if the toasts need topping up. The table gets louder and the stories get better. Good news: nobody has to rush. Linger a little, then head off to freshen up for tonight. Our glam cocktail lounge hides down a Melbourne laneway, and it's the kind of room a queen was made for, with glittering pendants and custom neon over velvet booths and a dance floor beside them. With the cover charge waived and VIP entry sorted, your VIP booth is held for your group for two whole hours. Then a surprise bottle of bubbly for your hen arrives at the booth, and she gets a standing ovation from her girls all over again. Time to dance the night away, your majesty.
