The first sweet thing happens before the hens even starts. A box lands at your door the week before, handcrafted and delivered fresh, full of delicious custom Mamma Mia cookies personalised with her name. Hide them well! Honey Honey is for the bride who puts ABBA on at every party, and for the girls who have never asked her to change the song. It is going to be sweet.
On the day, the sweetness moves up high. Our stunning rooftop bar is all sprawling palm fronds and Hamptons-inspired lounges, with breathtaking views across the city skyline. Your reserved seating is ready and a bottle of bubbly lands on the table as you arrive. Honey, the view! The discounted cocktail menu is there for anyone who fancies a second sip, and every angle up here is a photo.
Then the afternoon gets its groove on. Your own private VIP room in the middle of the Melbourne CBD is yours for two hours, glowing with neon signs and pink hues, and the stunning decor sets the tempo before a round of cocktails on arrival gets everyone warmed up. In comes your private dance instructor and My Ultimate Hens party host, with props and accessories for everyone and a full hour of Mamma Mia choreography, private for your group. Dancing Queen ABBA vibes fill the room. The hen takes the front and the girls fall in behind her. Somewhere in the big chorus it all comes together, and the shriek that follows could probably be heard in Stockholm.
The next sweet course is in the same bar, where your reserved seating area fills with delicious share plates and a bonus cocktail makes its way to the bride. Now is the moment for that box. Watch her find her name on those cookies, and have the camera ready. Surprise, honey!
Then the night goes velvet, a hop away at our glam laneway cocktail lounge, where your reserved VIP booth is waiting for two hours with the cover charge waived. Low lighting, plush velvet, glittering pendants and custom neon set the mood, and as you slide in, a surprise bottle of bubbly appears for your hen. The dance floor is right there and the moves are still fresh, so dance the night away.
When she's in the middle of that dance floor with the cookie crumbs long gone and her arm around you, she'll ask how you pulled it all off. Sweetly, honey. Very sweetly. And with a very good hiding spot for a box of cookies.
