Stir It Up. Bottle The Magic.
Who in your group would brew a love potion if she could? Be honest. Now hand all eight of you, bride included, a cocktail and a table full of fragrance notes, with an expert who knows exactly how to mix them. Love Potion is the hens where everyone gets to play perfumer for the afternoon, then carries that glow through share plates and into a velvet VIP booth. It is a little bit witchy and completely about her.
The spell begins in your own private room in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, and it is yours for two whole hours. Pink hues and neon glow over hanging greenery and stunning decor, and a round of cocktails arrives the moment you walk in. Clink clink! Your dedicated fragrance expert has set up the whole potion lab for you, every material and piece of equipment included, with an apron for each of you so nobody spills love potion on the good dress.
First, the sniffing. You smell and evaluate individual fragrance notes one at a time, and the room splits into camps almost instantly. Someone swoons over the very first note. Someone keeps coming back to the one nobody else likes. Someone refuses to let go of her favourite. And somebody keeps passing notes to the bride with a gasp of "this is SO you". Then your expert shows you how the notes play together, from top to base, and the real mixing begins.
Everyone blends her own. Watching the bride work out her potion, with a table of her girls leaning in and weighing in, is the moment of the afternoon. Each perfume is decanted into a glass bottle with a custom label and comes home with you, along with a personalised scent profile card that captures exactly what you made. Get the photo of her holding her finished potion up to the neon. You'll want it.
Out in the main dining room, your reserved table is waiting and the chef's selection of delicious share plates keeps coming. A bonus cocktail arrives for your hen. Potion-maker privileges.
Now the spell really takes hold. Just a hop and a teeter down a Melbourne laneway, our glam cocktail lounge waives the cover charge and shows you to your VIP booth, reserved for the next two hours. Sink into plush velvet under custom neon and glittering pendants. Then the surprise bottle of bubbly lands, and it is for your hen. Toast the potion-maker! When the beat calls, the dance floor is right on the doorstep, and the whole group is going to dance the night away.
When the bride leans over mid-song to make you smell her wrist again, take the compliment. You brewed this whole night, and every girl in the booth knows it.
