Camera Ready is built around that reveal. It's a getting-ready party with professionals doing the hard part, and then a night out where everyone looks like they have a stylist on speed dial. Because she's the bride, and her hens should look the part.
Your two hour VIP room hire starts the second you walk into your own private room, all girly pink hues and neon lighting, with hanging plants and stunning decor made for photos. A round of cocktails on arrival goes straight into every hand while the professional makeup artist team sets up shop. One by one, each girl takes her turn in the chair for a forty five minute makeup makeover per person: face, cheeks, eyes and lips, finished with false lashes! Want a glowy natural look with glossy lips and rosy cheeks, or a show-stopping red lip and a smoky eye? Tell your artist and let the magic unfold, while the rest of the girls hype each other up and play hens games.
When the bride's turn in the chair is done and she spins around, lashes fluttering, the whole room loses it. Happy tears and a standing ovation from the makeup chairs. That's the moment this package is named for, and it will be the clip everyone asks you to send.
With everyone camera ready, the celebration moves out to your reserved seating area in the main dining room, right in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. The delicious share plates start arriving and a bonus cocktail heads straight for your hen. This is where the group chat fills up. Every angle is a good angle tonight, so line up under the neon for the photo everyone will want: the whole crew, freshly lashed, with the bride dead centre and you at her elbow. A short strut, freshly glammed, takes you to our glam cocktail lounge tucked down a Melbourne laneway. You glide in with VIP entry and the cover charge waived, straight to your VIP booth for two hours of plush velvet under glittering pendants, which is frankly the lighting you just got your makeup done for. Then comes the surprise, a bottle of bubbly for your hen, and a toast to the bride and her very glamorous crew. Dance the night away. The lashes can handle it.
And when she's laughing in that booth with her glass in the air, she'll look over at the girl who thought of all of this. Take the compliment. You earned it.
