Then frock up for an easy teeter to our neon-kissed cocktail bar, where a cocktail lands in every hand and share plates fill the table. Your hen gets a bonus cocktail too. The night ends in a velvet VIP booth with entry sorted, and a surprise bottle of bubbly is headed her way.

Pearls First. Party Later.
There's a look a bride gets when she spots something sparkly in a shop window and says, "I could make that." Craft-ernoon Weekend is for her: the girl with a stash of craft supplies at home and a going-out dress already on the hanger, and a group that wants a bit of both. You'll spend the afternoon making something sparkly together in your own apartment, then head out under the city lights for cocktails and a velvet VIP booth. Crafty and glam in the one weekend? It's her hens, so why on earth choose?
Check in, and once the bags are down and every guest has found her bed, clear the table and open the boxes. Each of you has her own flowers and bling mosaic kit, starting with a cut out mosaic shape just waiting to be transformed. Then come the good bits: rhinestones, pearls, polymer clay flowers and resin flowers, with the glue, paint, brush and cotton tips tucked in beside them. Every mosaic tool and material is right there on the table, so nobody is hunting for anything except the perfect pearl.
Press play on the video demonstration and follow the instructions made for your piece, then go gloriously over the top. A few flowers here. A scatter of pearls there. One more rhinestone, because obviously it needs it. Before long the bride's piece becomes the group project, with the girls leaning over to add a bloom for luck, and the finished mosaics lined up side by side look like a little gallery of your friendship. Get the bride holding hers up in the middle of them all. That one's a keeper for the camera roll.
Then there's time to swap the craft clothes for something fabulous, and the night changes gear. Dinner is an easy teeter away, right in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, at our neon-kissed cocktail bar, where the beautiful decor is all pink velvet and cherry blossoms blooming under glowing greenery. Your reserved seating for the group is waiting, and a house cocktail greets every girl as she sits down. Delicious share plates start rolling out for the table, and your hen has a bonus cocktail heading her way, because the bride outranks everyone tonight, even the girl with the most rhinestones. Clink clink!
When the plates are cleared, the finale is a short stroll away down a Melbourne laneway. Your VIP booth is tucked inside a glam cocktail lounge, all plush velvet and glittering pendants, and it's yours for two hours with entry sorted and no cover charge to think about. Then the surprise lands: a bottle of bubbly for your hen, popped while she's still working out what's going on. The dance floor sits right on your doorstep whenever the girls want to dance the night away, and the booth is there when the heels need a breather.
The crafter with a glitter stash in her wardrobe will be in heaven, and so will the friend who swears she isn't creative, right up until she's arguing over the last pearl. And somewhere between the last rhinestone and the first dance, the bride will look up from her glass to find you right beside her in the booth, and she'll know exactly who pulled all of this together. Glue still on your fingers and a glass in your hand, you did this.
