There is a quick draw in every group. Maybe it is the maid of honour. Maybe it is the bride. Maybe it is the quiet one who has never held an axe in her life. Maybe it is the girl who swears she has terrible aim. Quick Draw Cowgirls is where you find out, and it is made for a posse of seven, bride included, with a wild streak and a soft spot for rhinestones.
High noon comes early in our axe throwing arena. Timber lanes and targets are waiting for your crew, with a full range of axe sizes to choose from, and your own AXE-pert coach has the safety briefing and the technique covered, all equipment included. Axes first, drinks later. Then it is a multi round axe throwing competition for two whole hours, and trust us, the trash talk starts before the first axe leaves anyone's hand.
Every lane needs a sheriff, so make the bride sheriff. When she steps up and sends one straight into the bullseye, the posse is duty bound to lose its mind. Is there a group shot of everyone doing their most dramatic gunslinger stance at the lane? There will be.
Holster those axes, cowgirls, and mosey on over to your own private room, where girly pink hues and neon lighting feel a lot more boudoir than bunkhouse. A house cocktail arrives for everyone as you walk in, and your two hour cowboy hat design workshop is ready on the table.
Your personal host guides you step by step, and each girl gets her own cowboy hat plus ribbons, leather bands, feathers, charms, studs, rhinestones and dried florals to decorate her way. Western or gloriously over the top, every hat is completely her own. Crown the bride's hat the sheriff's hat and load it up accordingly. Cue the camera roll: a row of brims and one very sparkly bride in the middle.
Dinner is at your reserved seating in the main dining area, where the delicious share plates start rolling out. Hats stay on. A bonus cocktail then arrives for the hen, and she toasts the posse from under a brim that could stop traffic.
The last showdown happens in a velvet VIP booth in the Melbourne CBD. Our fabulous cocktail lounge has your booth reserved for two whole hours, plush velvet glowing under custom neon, with the cover charge waived and the staff told to expect a cowgirl night. A surprise bottle of bubbly for your hen hits the table. The dance floor is right there, boots at the ready. Want to roll in like outlaws? Add our limo tour and sip bubbly on the way to your booth.
When the bride is dancing in her sheriff's hat and hooks her arm through yours, the whole posse will know who rounded everyone up. Fastest organiser in the West.
