Tacos On The Table. A Booth Past The Queue.
Not every bride wants a cast of thousands. Yours wants her favourite few around one table, and a margarita in her hand while she's at it. Margaritas & Velvet Booths is built for that tight little circle: the girls who have been there for everything and would rather have the right people close than a room full of strangers. It starts in the sunshine on a beach club deck and finishes in a luxe VIP booth past the queue, with tacos and margaritas somewhere wonderful in between. Her hens, her rules!
The afternoon starts up high, at our stunning rooftop bar in an incredible Surfers Paradise location. It's premium beach club and poolside vibes up here, and from your reserved seating on our deck the views are breathtaking: the ocean out front, the poolside antics below, the sun on your skin and the breeze in your hair. With a small crew nobody is shouting down the table, and there's time to properly settle in. The bride's bonus cocktail arrives freshly shaken, and the wraparound bar is right there for everyone else's first round. Clink clink! This is where the camera roll starts filling up: the bride with her cocktail and the ocean behind her, and you in every single shot with her.
Then the night turns up the colour. Right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, our stylish coastal cocktail lounge is all bold colour, playful pop art, cosy leather booths and laid back Baja energy, and your reserved seating for the group is waiting. An arrival glass of margarita lands in every hand. Then the table fills with taco style shared dining: think tacos, pulled beef, fried chicken, guacamole and corn chips, the kind of feast where everyone reaches across the table and nobody stops talking. And the bride? A bonus margarita, just for her. We're not counting, but that's two bonus drinks for the hen already.
The girls have our own discounted cocktail menu for the next round, so "one more?" becomes a very easy question. Somebody will kick off the first hens game here, and every challenge somehow ends with the whole table laughing harder than expected.
Then the lounge hands you over to the big finish. At the VIP gate of our glam and popular neon lounge in central Surfers Paradise, you skip the general queue, and the entry cover charge is waived for the whole crew. Inside it's pink hues, neon signs, velvet booths and pumping tunes, and your luxe VIP booth is waiting. An arrival round of drinks lands for everyone. Then, just when the bride thinks the spoiling must surely be over, a surprise cocktail arrives for the hen. Three bonus drinks in her honour in one night? Being the bride has its perks. When the booth time is up, the dance floor is waiting, and it turns out a small crew can make a very big noise.
