Shoes Off First. Heels On Later.
Calling the bride who swears she doesn't care who wins, then celebrates every single bowl like a grand final. Greens to the Beachfront is her kind of day. It starts with bare feet on the grass and a bubbly in hand, then moves on to share plates with an ocean view. After dark it climbs to a beach club deck that hands her over to a VIP booth. It's one long, lovely slide from afternoon to night, with somewhere reserved for you at every stop. Because it's her hens, and she should get to have the lot!
It all begins on the green. Kick off the shoes, because this is barefoot bowls, and you've got two games of it, with an intro lesson and every bowl you need. All green fees are included, too. A round of bubbly on arrival goes into every hand, and your reserved tables near the green mean your glass is waiting right where you left it between turns. Nobody needs to know what a jack is before they arrive. By the second game there are team names, trash talk, suspicious technique and at least one very loud celebration. Our tip? Let the bride bowl first. If she lands anywhere near the jack, the whole green will hear about it.
Then the afternoon swaps grass for ocean. If you'd like the girls to arrive together and glowing, add our private transfer and simply walk out to your driver.
Our stunning beachfront venue sits high above the coastline, all sleek decor and rooftop views, with the sea stretching out as far as you can see. Your reserved table for the group is ready, and a mimosa lands in every hand for the arrival toast. Delicious share plates start arriving while the girls replay the bowls results, each version a little more heroic than the last. Then a bonus cocktail heads straight to the hen, and everyone else has our discounted cocktail menu for the next round. Phones out, please! The camera roll wants this one: the bride with a mimosa in her hand and the big blue ocean behind her.
By now the lights are on, so up we go. Our stunning rooftop bar brings the premium beach club and poolside vibes, with the music up, island decor, the wraparound bar and an incredible Surfers Paradise location all around you. After an afternoon on the grass, your reserved seating on our deck feels like a well earned promotion, and the views are breathtaking. Her bonus cocktail lands freshly shaken. That's two for the hen, if anyone is counting. Everyone is counting.
Then it's an easy teeter, and this is where the heels go on. At the VIP gate of our central Surfers Paradise neon lounge, as glam and popular as they come, the bowlers skip the general queue, entry cover charge waived. Velvet booths, neon signs, pink hues and pumping tunes wrap around your luxe VIP booth. Everyone gets an arrival round of drinks, and a surprise cocktail for the hen makes it three for the day. By now her bowling career has become legend, and the booth hears every word of it. Once the booth wraps, the dance floor gets the victory shuffle.
From bare feet on the green to heels on the dance floor, it's a day that just keeps getting better. And when the bride is telling the booth, for the fourth time, about the bowl that won it, she'll have her arm around the girl who made the whole day happen. In bowls, the captain is called the skip. Today, that's you.
