Work Christmas parties and team events, no veil required
My Ultimate Hens also runs work Christmas parties, EOFY parties, team building days and staff reward nights in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide.
You don’t need a bride to book us. The packages that keep a hens group together all night, with no “so where to now?” at 9pm, work just as well for your Christmas party, your EOFY drinks or the night your team finally hit target.
Twelve different energy levels, one person holding it all together and a group chat that never sleeps. Sound like the office?
That’s a hens party, and since 2011 we’ve been building nights that keep a group like that together from the first drink to the last song. The same thinking works for a team.
Nobody standing at the bar at 9pm asking where to now.
One price per person, so nobody’s splitting the bill eleven ways at midnight.
Something to do, not just somewhere to stand, so the new starter and the CEO end up on the same side.
Your team gets the night. You get the credit, and you get to enjoy your own party.
Every excuse
Christmas parties, EOFY and every excuse in between
Office party ideas for every date in the calendar, not just December.
December
Work Christmas party
The one night a year the whole office actually dresses up. Shake your own cocktails, let our drag queen run the bingo, or start with a long dinner and see who makes it to karaoke. Australian summer helps: a work Christmas party on the water is hard to beat.
June
EOFY party
Books closed, targets in, everyone’s earned it. An end of financial year party with something to do, so it isn’t the same pub function with a bar tab.
Any day
Team building day
Team building activities the team will actually turn up for: a pizza cook-off, a cocktail battle, a painting everyone pretends is good. Competitive enough to be fun, easy enough that nobody needs to be good at it.
Target hit
Staff reward or incentive night
They smashed it. Say thanks with the night they’d never book for themselves: a cruise, a day at a winery, cocktails with a view.
Big news
Milestones and farewells
Ten years at the company, a big promotion, a send-off for someone the whole office will miss. Give it more ceremony than cake in the kitchen.
What the night can look like
Team building activities your team will actually turn up for
Each of these runs as part of a package in at least one of our cities. Mix them into one night: a class to break the ice, dinner, then somewhere with a dance floor.
Cocktail making class
Shakers out, team against team, and somebody in accounts turns out to be a natural behind the bar.
Cocktails and dinner
The classic, done properly. The table is waiting, the drinks keep arriving and nobody is splitting the bill eleven ways at midnight.
Drag queen dinner or drag bingo
Our drag queen calls the numbers, runs the room and somehow gets payroll up dancing.
Karaoke and a limo
Arrive like it’s the launch party, then hand the mic to the one who swore she doesn’t sing.
Cooking class
Pasta or pizza, flour on everyone, a cook-off with a winner and a dinner you made yourselves.
Paint and sip
A canvas each, a drink in hand and a gallery wall of work nobody will be adding to their LinkedIn.
Jewellery or perfume making
Everyone walks out with something they made, which beats another branded drink bottle.
Dance class with our Dance Hosts
One routine, learned in an hour, performed once. Badly, brilliantly, and on everyone’s camera roll.
Boat cruise
The whole office on the water, a glass in hand and the city going gold behind you.
Winery tour
A day in the vines, glasses topped up, and nobody’s the designated driver.
Axe throwing
Stress relief with a scoreboard. Hit the bullseye and keep the bragging rights until next Christmas.
Can’t pick?
Tell us the team, the vibe and the date, and we’ll put two or three together into one night.
Each city page shows what we run there. It’s written for hens, so read ‘bride’ as ‘your team’, then send us your date.
Three steps
How it works
1
Tell us the basics
Your team size, the date and the city. A rough headcount is fine to start.
2
We send what fits
The packages that suit your numbers, your date and the kind of night your team is after, each with its price per person.
3
Book it, send the invite
Then enjoy being the person who organised the good one.
Good questions
Work party questions
Do you only do hens parties?
No. Same packages, same crew, any reason to celebrate. Hens parties are where we started in 2011, and the thing we got good at there, keeping a whole group together and having fun from the first drink to the last song, works just as well for a team.
Can the whole team come?
Yes, the whole team. Everyone’s welcome, whoever’s on it. Each package has its own minimum group size, shown on the package page, so tell us how many of you there are and we’ll come back with the packages that fit.
How much does a work party cost?
Most day and night packages sit between about $130 and $350 per person. Every package shows its own price per person on its page, and the bigger the group, the lower it tends to go, so six of you will tend to pay more each than fifteen.
Can we do it during the day?
Yes. We run day and night packages, so a long lunch, an afternoon class or a day out at a winery all count. Tell us when the team can get away.
Can we book it as a staff reward?
Yes. Book the night itself as the reward: the cruise, the cocktail class or the long dinner they’d never organise for themselves. Tell us the team and the date, and we’ll show you what fits.
What if some of the team don’t drink?
They’re in, at the same price per person. Where drinks are part of a package, non-drinkers get a non-alcoholic alternative, depending on the package: in a cocktail class they make the non-alcoholic versions. If most of the team isn’t drinking, go for a package that isn’t built around the bar, like a creative workshop, a long lunch or a daytime experience.

Send us your date
Tell us the team, the date and the city, and we’ll check what’s free for your night.

Re: Team Christmas party
Best work party we’ve ever had. Who organised this?
You booked it. They’ll still be talking about it at Monday’s stand-up.
