Tiny Gardens. Wild Night.
Her houseplants have names, and she talks to them. There is a monstera in her lounge room with its own nickname and a care routine more consistent than her skincare, and she will happily tell you about it. If that's your bride, Grow Wild is her hens: a crafty, cocktail-in-hand afternoon building tiny gardens in glass, followed by a night that gets wilder by the hour. She goes home with a keepsake she made herself, and so does every girl beside her.
The day begins in your own private room in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, which, happily, already comes with hanging greenery. Add pink hues and glowing neon signs and you have found her natural habitat. It's yours for two whole hours, and a round of cocktails is ready the moment you walk in. Clink clink, plant ladies!
Your dedicated artist host has brought the workshop to you, with all the terrarium materials laid out and an apron for each of you, and guides the group through building a miniature garden in a compact glass vessel. It is fiddly in the most satisfying way. Tiny details get rearranged for maximum cuteness, and someone gets quietly, fiercely competitive about where every sprig of greenery goes. The bride sits right in the middle of it all, the unofficial queen of the garden party, with a cocktail never far from her hand.
Two hours later, the table has turned into a little glass forest and every girl has her own tiny garden to take home. Get the overhead shot with a hand wrapped around every glass, because that is the photo that ends up on the fridge.
Hungry gardeners, this way. Your reserved table in the main dining room fills with delicious share plates, and your hen gets a bonus cocktail, naturally. First prize in the garden show goes to the bride, obviously.
And now for the wild part. A quick, easy stroll down a Melbourne laneway brings you to our glam cocktail lounge, cover charge waived, where a VIP booth is reserved for your group for two hours. It's all plush velvet and glittering pendants, with custom neon and low lighting setting the mood. Then the surprise lands: a bottle of bubbly for your hen, popped right at the booth. The dance floor sits right on the doorstep, so go on, dance the night away!
