Every great race starts with someone in pole position, and tonight that spot belongs to your bride. Pole Position is made for the confident crew who want a workout with a wink. It starts behind a studio door that stays firmly closed, with nobody watching but her girls, and it finishes in a VIP booth where the new moves get their very first audience. It's her hens after all, so let's give her a proper start!
First up, your own private space in our pole studio. A glass of house bubbly lands in every hand the moment you arrive. Call it liquid courage. Then your professional instructor, a pole hostess who specialises in hens, takes the lead for a ninety minute pole dancing workshop that is all about the fun rather than the technique. Think easy choreography and plenty of giggles, with moves that suit every age and fitness level, taken at your own pace. The quiet friend discovers she has serious grip. The loud friend discovers gravity. Just imagine the look on her face when the bride nails her first proper spin and the whole room erupts like she has just taken the chequered flag!
Then the night changes gear. If you'd like the girls to pull up like a winning team on a victory lap, add our stretch limo with bubbly and simply walk out to your driver.
Next stop, our cocktail bar in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, where the beautiful decor does half the work for you: pink velvet and neon kisses glowing on the walls, with cherry blossoms blooming beneath the greenery. Your reserved seating for the group is waiting, and a round of cocktails on arrival turns tired arms into raised glasses. Clink clink! Then the delicious share plates start landing on the table, and a bonus cocktail heads straight for your hen, because whoever starts on pole gets looked after first. Get her in front of the glowing Xs and Os for the photo of the night, glass up, with you right beside her.
From there it's an easy teeter, even in heels, to our glam cocktail lounge tucked into a Melbourne laneway. Plush velvet booths and glittering pendants glow under custom neon. The cover charge is waived and you stroll straight in with VIP entry. Your VIP booth is yours for two hours, and then comes the surprise: a bottle of bubbly for your hen, with the first toast going to her very first spin. By now the whole group has a brand new relationship with anything vertical, so when it's time to dance the night away, keep an eye on the bride. She has moves now.
