If the bride has ever owned the dancefloor at somebody else's wedding, this one has her name on it! Shake Before The Cake is the hens for a group that would rather do something together than just drink together, and it opens with ninety minutes of pole and twerk before rolling straight on to tapas and bubbly. There will be at least one surprisingly bendy cousin, and by dinner there will be stories the MC is going to want for the wedding speech.
Let the shaking begin! The doors close and the music goes up. It's just your girls in a private space with nobody watching except the people who love her. A round of bubbly on arrival puts a glass in every hand, so the bride gets toasted before anybody goes near a pole. Consider it liquid courage, served chilled.
Then your professional instructor takes over for a ninety minute pole and twerking workshop that is equal parts fun and flirty, with plenty of booty shaking thrown in. Leave your dignity at the door and bring your loudest laugh. Give it twenty minutes and even the careful ones have found their hips. Then the bride lands her first spin and the whole room screams like she's just taken gold. Phones out, ladies: that is the video everyone will be begging you to send to the group chat.
