If your bride has ever blamed Mercury for a bad week, checked the moon before booking a haircut, asked someone what time they were born or announced everyone's star sign within five minutes of meeting them, she is about to be over the moon. This is a hens that moves through the phases, from rooftop bubbly in the afternoon to a velvet booth at night, with a crescent moon of her own made somewhere in the middle. With seven of you in on it, bride included, there is room for every personality in her orbit.
New moon, new beginnings: our stunning rooftop bar. Palm fronds sway over oversized Hamptons-inspired lounges, and the city skyline gives your reserved area breathtaking views. The bottle of bubbly arrives as you settle in. Pop! First toast to the bride. Everyone has our discounted cocktail menu for the rest of your time up here, so round two is really just a formality. Grab the group shot in front of the palms now, while the lipstick is still perfect.
First quarter, and things start taking shape. The day moves on to your own private room in the Melbourne CBD for two whole hours, where neon signs glow over pink hues and hanging greenery, with stunning decor wherever you look. A round of cocktails lands as you walk in. Then your dedicated artist host shows you the table: fresh and dried flowers, foliage, gemstones, delicate chains and mini mushrooms, plus every tool and an apron each. All materials included, and zero craft skills required.
Here's where it gets competitive in the prettiest way. Minimalists versus maximalists, and the maximalists are winning on gemstones. The bride's moon collects a few more mini mushrooms every time somebody walks past it. Over two hours each of you designs and makes a crescent moon wreath to take home, and hers is destined for a wall she will walk past every day as a married woman. Dinner is served at your reserved table out in the main dining room, with the chef's delicious share plates landing one after another. And of course, a bonus cocktail is on its way to your hen. A short stroll away in your party heels, our glam cocktail lounge hides down a Melbourne laneway, with the cover charge waived and a VIP booth reserved for your group for two hours. Velvet to sink into, glittering pendants twinkling above like a little galaxy, custom neon and low lighting doing the rest: very much her aesthetic. And then the surprise, a bottle of bubbly for your hen, arriving at the booth like it was written in the stars. The dance floor is right on the doorstep, so dance the night away!
