Suit Up, Accomplices. The Bride Is In On It.
Every bride has her accomplices. They are the ones who probably knew about the proposal before she did, and who will cheerfully fib to her mother about what really happened at the hens. Partners In Crime is built for that crew: just the six of you, bride included, pulling off one beautifully planned night in the city. It starts in orange jumpsuits behind bars and it finishes in a velvet booth with bubbly popping for the woman of the hour. Consider this your permission to go rogue. It's her hens after all!
First job: get yourselves locked up. Our immersive prison cocktail bar hands every one of you an orange jumpsuit, and from the moment it's on, you are no longer out for drinks. You are inmates. Professional actors play the Warden and the Guards, with a few shady fellow inmates in the mix, and they pull your crew straight into the story. It's maximum security fun, and the trick is keeping a straight face while the Warden is watching. Good luck with that.
Between the twists, four rounds of drinks find their way into your hands, so there's always a reason for a sneaky cheers when the Guards look the other way. Your mission is the mugshot: the bride in orange, arms folded, grinning like she has already planned the escape. That's the photo the group chat is waiting for.
Time served. The jumpsuits stay inside and the lippy goes back on, because the next stop is our pink-hued cocktail bar in the heart of the CBD. Pink velvet, neon kisses on the walls, cherry blossoms under glowing greenery and gold accents catching the light: this room was made for photos. Your reserved table is waiting and a house cocktail lands in each hand as you sit down, so the first toast to your freshly released bride happens straight away. Clink clink!
Then the chef's selection share plates start arriving for the table, and a bonus cocktail heads straight to your hen, because a woman with a record gets special treatment around here. Stand her in front of the glowing Xs and Os on the wall for a lineup photo before the next part of the plan.
And now for the part nobody wrote down. Tucked away down a Melbourne laneway, our glam cocktail lounge waves your crew straight in on VIP entry with the cover charge waived. Plush velvet and custom neon set the scene under glittering pendants, and your VIP booth is yours for two hours. Then comes the surprise: a bottle of bubbly for your hen, popped and poured for the whole crew. When her song comes on, the dance floor is right on the doorstep and the booth empties in seconds. Dance the night away, ladies.
Somewhere between the second round behind bars and the last song of the night, she'll grab your hand on the dance floor and realise you planned the perfect job. Accomplice of the year? It's going on your permanent record.
