Dress code: as much glitter as the group chat can agree on. Glitterball Girls is a disco night for the whole crew, where everyone turns up sparkling and leaves with a routine they'll be doing at every wedding for the next ten years. The glitter and the flares are on you. The bride's costume and fun accessories for the whole group are on us, and your private dance instructor takes care of the music.
The party starts in our glam VIP room in the Melbourne CBD, which, conveniently, is already pink and neon lit and looking for an excuse to sparkle. Right in the heart of the city, the stunning decor and hanging greenery are all yours for two whole hours. A round of cocktails is waiting as you walk in, and the first cheers goes to the bride, sequins already catching the neon. Grab the photos against the neon now, while the glitter is still exactly where you put it.
Then it's one hour of disco with your private dance instructor. Funky moves for everyone and a costume that crowns the bride queen of the glitterball girls. With a crew this size, the room turns into a proper disco. Lines of girls pointing at the ceiling. A wall of phones filming the bride. Someone's flares testing every seam. And the loudest cheer of the day when the whole group finally hits the move together.
Footage swapped and lip gloss reapplied, the celebration heads out to the seats reserved for your crew in the dining room. Up and down the table go the delicious share plates, and a bonus cocktail sparkles its way to the bride. Every clip gets a score out of ten, and somehow the bride's routine keeps scoring eleven.
But the glitterball girls aren't done yet! Glitter topped up, it's a quick stroll to a Melbourne laneway, where our glam cocktail lounge has waived the cover charge and the whole crew sails in with VIP entry. Your reserved VIP booth is set for two hours, plush velvet and custom neon under glittering pendants, which frankly were made for this group. Then a surprise bottle of bubbly for your hen arrives, and the dance floor is right there on your doorstep. The lights overhead and the bubbly going round make it feel like the ending of every disco movie you've ever loved. Routine ready? Go and dance the night away!
