Spotlight On The Bride. Chorus Line Behind Her.
Every ABBA song ever written has a spotlight moment, and your bride has claimed every single one of them. Super Trouper Hens is for the ABBA-obsessed bride and the whole chorus line of girls who have been singing backing vocals for her for years, with a crew big enough to make every chorus louder than the last. The lights stay on her all day.
It begins up high at our stunning rooftop bar, a leafy oasis of palm fronds and Hamptons-inspired lounges with breathtaking views across the city skyline. Your reserved seating is set for the whole crew and a bottle of bubbly is poured as you arrive. Then out comes the box you've been hiding since the postie delivered it fresh: her custom Mamma Mia cookies, handcrafted and personalised with her name. Spotlight moment number one, and the day has barely begun. The discounted cocktail menu is right there for anybody keen on a cocktail with a view. Is the bride front and centre in the first group photo? Obviously.
Then the stage moves into the Melbourne CBD, where a private VIP room is yours for two hours, with pink hues and neon signs glowing over stunning, sleek decor, and a round of cocktails on arrival gets everyone warmed up. Your My Ultimate Hens party host steps up as private dance instructor, with props and accessories for everyone and a full hour of Mamma Mia choreography, private for your group. With a crew this size the routine becomes a full production number, the bride front and centre with rows of dancing queens behind her and Dancing Queen ABBA vibes filling the room. In that last chorus every one of her girls is singing straight at her, and the camera roll will never be the same!
When the music fades, the production relocates to your reserved seating area in the same bar. Delicious share plates arrive, and a bonus cocktail goes straight to the bride, who by now has been in the spotlight for hours and shows no sign of leaving it. Somebody will start the Waterloo chorus between plates, and the whole table will join in.
For the grand finale, it's a short stroll to our glam laneway cocktail lounge and your reserved VIP booth for two hours, cover charge waived. Glittering pendants catch the light like a stage rig over the plush velvet, and a surprise bottle of bubbly arrives for your hen as the crew piles in. The dance floor is on your doorstep, so dance the night away. The spotlight? Still on her.
And when the whole chorus line is dancing around her and she pulls you in beside her for the last big number, you'll both know who ran the show. You were the super trouper all along.
